Dan graduated from Cornell University in 1995 with a major in finance and accounting. He joined the firm immediately after graduation and has worked here since then.
He focuses his work with us in helping large clients in the property development industry, working with entities that have close to a billion dollars under management or development, mostly in the the tri-state area, and for the most part on or near the Hudson River.
Dan is an IRS enrolled agent. An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and CPAs, have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent and what types of tax matters they can handle. With this privilege and Dan’s significant study in the field of taxation, he does a great job in helping clients comply with tax requirements, and also in helping in the resolution of tax problems.
Dan is active searching for new and interesting restaurants with his family and in an occasional round of golf. They live in the Town of Newburgh.
