Response to IRS correspondence

It is natural for you to get a little nervous when you receive an unexpected letter from the government. We can and want to help.

The first task is to read the correspondence and to understand what is the issue or what the government has in mind. Once that is accomplished, we develop a strategy to respond, keeping in mind the due date of the response.

The IRS has published a list of notice correspondence numbers and what they mean to you. We enclose a link here in which there is an explanation for the letter.

If you receive IRS or NYS correspondence, please bring this to our attention. We will work hard to take care of the matter.
